3-day cruise question

The Coral Princess next May will have a repositioning cruise from LA to Vancouver, and the rates are cheap.

I'm debating going on this cruise simply to stay in the Presidential Suite for $899 per person.

Think this is smart, or a waste of money?

Is this a 3-night/4-day cruise? If so, that would cost you and your wife, or significant other, about $600 per night. If you feel comfortable with this, go for it. ((b))

Yeah, 3-night/4-days.

Putting into perspective for the per-day account, I'm thinking no. Thanks!

I don't understand the math. $899 OK say $900 for 3 nights is $3oo per person for one night when I divide 900 by 3. That includes all meals, and lots of entertainment. Wouldn't 3 nights in a hotel in New York or San francisco cost at least as much?

When we go to NY, we spend significantly less than $1800 for three days, including hotel, meals and theater.
