1st time Alaskan Cruise/1st Cruise ever

Currently, the group I travelled with is spinning over a European river barge cruise. I like the one that runs from Pris to Prague. But at this point, I'll go anywhere in Europe in a smaller sea.

its so unfortunate this happened but do give it another try, especially as its free! I would hope you could experience what we all love about cruising. Just plain bad luck this time. The odds are in your favor.

Although there were no stops in between Seward and Vancouver, the view on the port side southbound is still quite spectacular and you can usually see it from the ship, unless it tarvelled through those seaside glaciers during the night ...
Summer in Alaska is their wet season. You have better than 2/3 chances of encountering rain/drizzle etc, especially around the inside passage. We've been to Alaska quite a few times and this year (early June) was the first time ever that we had 7 days of clear weather and it is highly unusal.
You should try for another Alaskan cruise, maybe an inside passage round trip.
