Wyndham Aruba vs Occidental Grand

We've been looking at the Wyndham Aruba(all inclusive plan) and the Occidental Grand Aruba(also all inclusive). I understand that there are alot of great restaurants on the island, and we plan to eat dinner out some nights, but for us (2 ladies in our thirties with very good livers!) all inclusive seems like a good choice, as we can easily go through 10 cocktails a day. My question is - which resort has the better beach and atmosphere, and which is generally more upscale? Any input would be appreciated-

Neither, really. Aruba is really not known for its upscale accomodations. The Hyatt and/or Radisson are probably the nicest....I would for sure re-think the AI....too many cool places to eat AND drink on the island...in fact, those are the best things about Aruba.

Thanks for the input; I think we're going with the Radisson on the non-inclusive plan

I agree- the Radisson is your best bet! I would not confine myself to one place for dinner cuz there are so many good places to eat throughout the island.

Prices for all inclusive from where I am run $1100 canadian for air hotel and all meals and drinks and activities,,, Cant beat that for Aruba, but there is lots of great eating establishments there if you like to sample. Comes down in the end to dollars!! and what u want to spend and can afford
