Why so little interest in Bermuda ?

Hello everyone,
Bermuda is such a beautiful island but there seems to be little interest in this paradise. Why ?

Juli is right.
Bermuda is wonderful. Close to US East coast, easy access, great beaches, wonderful people.
BUT: not a winter time retreat. It's at the same lattitude as North Carolina and therefore has a "cool" season during the winter months (Dec-Mar). You may hit a warm spell in the 70s but if you're looking for warm water etc, it can't compete with the Caribbean.
We went to Bermuda last JUly. We loved it! We have been to other islands and would go back to Bermuda in a NY minute!! We also bought our 2 teens with us and they enjoyed it as well... great snorkeling... beautiful beaches!
