Which Wyndham?

My boyfriend and I have vouchers for Wyndham and are considering the DR. There are several Wyndhams in the country, which we have never been to.

Any recommendations on which Wyndham location may be preferable is appreciated. We like to do the relax/beach thing and activities/sightseeing.

I have never been to the DR so I can't tell you about them, BUT there is a Wyndam in Bermuda that just opened. It was another hotel, Sonesta, that was completely redone. There is also a very nice Wyndam in Puerto Rico. Maybe others can comment on these.

There is a very popular Wyndham in Aruba. Take a look at that one.

How far are you interested in going and when are you planning your vacation for? Bermuda cannot be minimized as it's wonderful, however, that is a April - October trip. The USVI is a fairly quick trip and has a nice Wyndham. if you're willing to go a little further, the Aruba Wyndham is nice and Aruba has nice beaches, but there aren't a lot of activities and sightseeeing opportunities on the island.

We just returned from the Wyndham in St. Thomas, USVI. Can't say I would recommend it. It was nice, but just didn't like the lay-out. I have a report with pics just a few posts down if your interested.

Thank you for your replies. I neglected to elaborate -- our Wyndham vouchers are through a travel agency and we're limited to the DR or Bahamas.

Any insight to these properties is appreciated!
