My favorite snorkle site is Church Bay. It is not far from the Reefs and the Fairmont Southhampton. There is a very nice little cove for snorkling at the Wyndham (which is going through major renovations but promises to be lovely).

If you stay at Aeriel Sands, you can snorkel right off the beach there. Mind you there are all kinds of great spots and you might want to take a snorkelling cruise while there. Aeriel Sands is a beautiful spot, great food and on the bus route to take you into town.

Pompano Beach Resort - www.pompano.bm -they are located on a huge, very calm sand bar. Their website will give you more details and there are a lot of pictures to see.

Stay at the Reefs, best small resort and that is worldwide comparison as well as just for Bermuda. Expensive but worth it.

According to tripadvisor.com, Pompano is favoured over The Reefs. It really depends on what your priorities are - you can't beat Pompano if you want calm water.
