Which island to visit if I want to do some good snorkeling?
I went to St. Croix a year ago and loved it. There was some good snorkeling and the beaches were beautiful. I would like to take a trip to a different island this summer with a focus on good snorkeling, nice beaches and some hiking. I don't want to pay a lot of money to sit by a pool all day. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you. M. Clark

Turks and Caicos islands. My husband went out on a boat snorkeling from Provo and then went on to Iguana Island--he still claims that's the best place he has snorkled. St. John is second best.

If you like hiking then try St. Kitts with its beautiful rainforest. Resorts on beach are Timothy Beach Resort or the upscale resort at The Golden Lemon with villas/private pools. Fodors online has good info on other resorts. Also, St. John with its beautiful beaches and park. St. John was a little quiet for us but you may love it.

Snorkling is excellent on Bonaire.
