St. Barths, hands down. Also, the one of the priciest (i.e., euros) Check out sbhonline.com for a very active St. Barths forum.

Out of all the Caribbean islands we have been to, ST BARTHS is the best. #2 would have to be Barbados.

St Barths has superb chefs. It is such a chic island also!

Anguilla has great hotels and restaurants but some might find it boring.

Here's another vote and St. Barth's as an island with the best combination of great hotels and great restaurants. There's plenty to do there also (world class shopping, evey type of watersport imaginable, hiking, etc.) so you won't get bored.

Anguilla is another island that has several top Caribbean resorts and over 80 great restaurants but as others have pointed out there's not a lot to do on the island except enjoy the beautiful beaches.

I also agree with Anguilla, but many do find it a tad "quiet."

Another possibility is Puerto Rico. Lots of interesting hotel and dining choices and great history and sight-seeing opportunities.

I agree that PR has great restaurants and also great nightlife.

St. Maarten has better beaches, great restaurants and is another good option.
