Which Island??
 

I am looking for suggestions on which island to go to if I'm on a budget. I just returned from my weddingmoon in Antigua this year and would like to make it back to the caribbean again next year. My new husband and I are trying to build a house, so money is tight. Is there somewhere reasonable I could go for 5-6 days? I would perfer an all-inclusive and a must is a great beach.

Dear Islander,<BR>Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic has all that you are asking for - gorgeous beaches, all AI's, and a price tag around 30% less than the other Caribbean islands.

I suggest the Abacos, Bahamas.....not the ritzy-glitzy as in some islands. Check out Hope Town or Great Guana Cay for very relaxing getaways.

Islander, I too was married in the Caribbean this year. In Nassau. and we were checking out a 1st anniv. trip for May. If you are open to options, check out mexico too! We are going for the first time cuz there are such great deals to cancun and cozamel. We will be in cancun 5 nights for cinco de mayo!! :-)

I also would recommend Mexico. Look into the &quot;riveria maya&quot; which is the area south of Cancun, making it not as crowded. You have numerous 5 star AI's located on the beautiful cost of the Carribbean. I stayed at the Royal Hideaway. Everything was included and the service, food, accommodations, etc were all 5 star.
