Which Island?
Deciding which caribbean island to go to for my husband's and my anniversary. Looking for quiet, secluded villa away from neighbors or no neighbors (NO all inclusive or resort, no condo or apartment), villa MUST have a private pool and does not need to be near the beach. We will be renting a car. Looking for October 2016. Budget below $2000 for the week. Any ideas? I'm really looking for help on this one. I know our budget makes it hard.

Hi CarolinaFox!! Try and take a look at Stonefield Resort, St. Lucia. Beautiful setting and most villas, if not all have a pool. It is a villa only resort. There is a beach less than a five minute drive away as well.
http://www.stonefieldresort.com/ Also in St. Lucia you can check out Fond Doux Holiday Plantation. The villas do not have a pool here however and are not as nice as stonefield. Another place you may like is Windjammer Landing in St. Lucia. Beautiful beach, most villas have a private pool, many restaurants on site. http://www.windjammer-landing.com/ Another place in St. Lucia is Cap Maison. The villas are more close together so you may have neighbors. Most villas have private pools I believe. http://www.capmaison.com/accommodations/rooms There are also many other smaller places in St Lucia that are not in an actual hotel that you can check out. I know of one, called Tamarind Villa. It is very large but usually can be picked up at a good price and has a large private pool. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/VacationR..._St_Lucia.html |
Thank you so much for the help areembroo! I am going to check them all out! Thanks so much again for taking the time to help me with ideas! :)

I just returned from a lovely trip to Turks and Caicos, but you would have to up your budget to $3000. Economy rental car was about $240 a week. It was certainly private and quiet.
