Which Caribbean Island to visit in March?
I have been thinking about taking a trip to the Caribbean during my Spring Break in March but have no idea where to go! I've looked into the Turks & Caicos islands and those seem like a wonderful place to visit. I've also looked into the British Virgin Islands... but it's kind of overwhelming to sit down and choose an island to visit! Any advice anyone can give would be so helpful in this process! Thanks! :)
It will just be me traveling, so I'm not sure what area would be the best for a single girl in her mid-20s. I will probably only be able to go for about 4 nights, possibly 5... Activities that I am interested in: Hiking, biking, photography, snorkeling (never been, but the more to see, the better!), sailing, parasailing (again, never been, so I'd like to try), I just heard about Snuba, so if it's available in the area, it would be a bonus! Food is not an important factor in the decision--I'm actually a picky eater, so I will most likely eat the basics and don't mind eating it several times. I would like to visit an amazing beach and just be able to relax on it as well as wonder around the area and explore (I'm a teacher, so I would like to get as much relaxation in as possible before I go back to school). I think it would be amazing to visit different islands if possible... but again, not a necessity in the decision. I'm not into partying and all that so nightlife is not an interest. I'd like an area that is easy to get around without having to use taxis to get everywhere or rent a car... but I'm not opposed to renting a car if it's needed. Thanks again for any help!!! |

not a long flight, cheap, nice hotel, been by myself twice although I am 50 there were lots of people young and old. Lots of Europeans. The hotel is very nice, food is good, beautiful long white sandy beach. It is an an inclusive - so you never have to leave nor do you want to. They have some night life so you can watch shows. let me know if you have other questions. |
