Which Caribbean island do you recommend for 2 friends?

My friend and I want to celebrate our 40th birthday by going to a island in the caribbean. We want to go to an island that has beautiful beaches and has some nightlife and good restaurants. We would love it if there were casinos but if there isn't then that is okay. We have been to alot of islands already so we don't want to go back to the ones we have been to. They are Aruba, Nassau, Paradise Island, Barbados, Antigua, Puerto Rico, St. Martin, St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, St. Lucia, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Cozumel, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Cayman Islands. What do you recommend?

How about going to the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino? I haven't been there, but it's on my list of places I'd like to visit!!

St Barts or Anguilla (little nightlife though). Curacao Marriott would also fit the bill.

Thanks. I was looking at the Curacao Mariott property online last night. It looks very nice. I will discuss this with my friend. How does Curacao compare to Aruba? My friend has a timeshare in Aruba and always goes there. She absolutely loves it there. I went with her a couple of years ago but I wasn't so thrilled with it. Any other island ideas?

Curacao is a bigger island than Aruba, similar landscape but more choice of beaches, restaurants and sights generally. It's more of a "real" island rather than one that is just on show for tourists.

Otherwise St Barts.

This is your 40th birthday. You don't want to just travel, you want to go someplace to celebrate. Curacao is very welcoming with beautiful beaches, some places that you could stay out late and magnificent restaurants. The Marriott has a small casino. We really enjoyed the island and had a lot of fun there.

melissa
look into Anguilla, Provo T&C or ST Barths for great beaches and great restaurants not much in the way of nightlfe but make up for it with the beaches and restaurants. All 3 are safe
islands and very relaxing.
what are your favorite islands so far?

What about Grenada (nice beaches, good restaurants, spice plantations) ?
