Which Aruba hotel is best for older teens?
 

We are seriously looking at Aruba for a Spring Break trip.
Bucuti looks like the place my husband and I would enjoy the most, but would the Radisson have more to offer for our 15 & 19 yrs. old kids?
Any other suggestions?

Not a lot of kids at Bucuti, teen or otherwise. The Radisson is a beautiful and very active property, right next door to a couple of equally active places and on a great stretch of Palm Beach. The pool at the Radisson I have to think would go over well with your kids.

If nothing else, it's a numbers game... the high rises have more people around, therefore more variety and more likelihood they'll encounter similar souls, I'd guess.

Of course, it's also a bit more expensive...

Bucuti if I'm not mistaken is one of the few hotels in the low rise areas where the beach is topless - double check this before you book it. Costa Linda, Playa Linda, La Cabana are much better options for teenagers.

Topless apart, children of any age are 'discouraged' at Bucuti - it says so on their website. We just got back a week ago, and we actually saw only one family there - an Austrian couple with a little boy 2 years old or so, who was quite happy to paddle about in the pool. But as others have noted, there is really nothing at all for older children to do, and I never saw any at Bucuti either this year or last year.
One of the highrise hotels (Hyatt, Radisson, Marriott etc.) would indeed be a much better choice.
