Hi all - each year, My Mom (who will be 80) next year takes her daughters on vacation somewhere in the Caribbean...she wants hassle free - all-inclusive.....what would you suggest.....we are open to any......I've been to some Sandals - but they are all couples....we like calm powdery aqua water......Mom would like a casino....her girls like good food and wine.....all suggestions are welcome...thanks for your advice!

The only all inclusive on the island of Curacao is Breezes. The resort is not bad at all. They seemed to be doing a pretty good job recently.

The Marriot in Curacao also has an all inclusive plan. I have never tried it before though.

I think the Renaiisance also has an all inclusive plan.

I see that you tagged Curacao. Breezes needs lot of updates and the food quality is iffy. Their beach is crushed coral, so you'll need water shoes. When we went to Curacao, I did a lot of research for an AI since we enjoy them also and went with the Lions Dive instead (non-AI), but they have 3 resturants on site and several within walking distance.

I would suggest the RIU or Occidental in Aruba instead. Aruba has great food options and casinos. Nice beaches and things to do off property.

The Playa del Carmen area of Mexico has some really great AI's. Look at the Iberostars, RIU's Palace resorts, Occidentials and Barcelos. No casinos though.

I didn't mean to tag it to Curacao - I'm open to any island - sorry about that! thanks for the suggestions - please keep them coming!

Also - has anyone been to Divi or Tamarijn (not sure of spelling)....in Aruba - I looked at the RIU - looks nice - great high rise location.....the beach at the Divi looks fabulous....

Thanks for the info for St. Lucia - I'd love to stay at Jade or Laderia...but with my hubby - not my sisters and Mom :) :)

Anyone have suggestions - again - didn't mean to tag Curacao - we are open to anywhere!

We loved the Breezes Resort near Willemstad. We found the beaches, water and snorkeling fabulous. They have a casino there as well. It really is ALL inclusive. We went for 10 days. Great service, security, plenty to do, helpful and friendly. No problems whatsoever.

There is a Marine/Aquarium, dive shop, taxi stop just out front for quick jaunt into Willemstad for shopping all within walking distance.

The entertainment was very good too! Lots of space to relax and always good food to eat all over the resort from the beach shacks, pool side, buffet or choice of several restaurants. Sunsets and calm, aqua water where snorkeling/swimming area has a rock barrier to create ocean pool like area. Very nice! Shady trees as well for those not wanting too much sun.

This place is great for any age--except perhaps teenagers looking for a lot of nightlife. However, that could be found very near in Willemstad I am sure.

We felt completely safe in or out of the resort and toured the entire island. Check out my post about that to see key spots you shouldn't miss: http://www.fodors.com/community/cari...omment-7120006
