Thanks Blamona!
We love Hopetown but after seeing your posts about the Exumas, we have just booked next Easter at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, nurse sharks, pigs and all.
Can't wait and would never have know about this without your posts (and Pitbull's video).
Thanks
It's going down!

As in a year from now? We're going in august, with Kristen from this forum
You probably mean to thank Kristen, she's the one that posts about Staniel Cay and Timber.
Look for those pictures, I love the Exumas (I thought Hopetown was nice, but Exumas are more me)
Have fun!

Yes, a year from now!
They only have TWO cottages left for Easter 2015 so far in advance, so thought we had better rush in.
My wife had just said, " I would to go to the North End of Elbow but you're not going to get through life without seeing the swimming pigs".

We have issues.
My son is 9.
We want to be over the water, there are only two cottages left. Yellow isn't over the water and the only other one left is (yes you have guessed it) pink !
He isn't happy.
Blue seems to have come available : have just put in a request to move.
By the age of 9 British boys are not in touch with their feminine side.
I have alway had real issues with sharks after being taken to watch Jaws at the silly age of 12. Been scared stiff since, we are going to SC in October, I just will not swim in the water there, too murky.
We were moored at Sandy Cay two years ago, I was snorkelling in the water, my son was jumping up and down in the boat shouting fin! fin! a shark! It turned out to be a dolphin.
My remedy to this fear is a trip to Compass Cay for some therapy.
