Where would you stay?
 

We are torn between wich resort to stay at in Jamaica for a romantic, quite getaway. <BR>Sandles, grand lido negril, grand lido sans souci, or couples negril? Wich place would you go? Please respond soon <BR>thank you <BR>frank

Don't go to the Holiday Inn Resort Sunspree Resort!

COUPLES!! Went to Couples Ocho last year and liked it so much we decided to check out their new resort in Negril. Was there last month and had a great time. Already planning our next trip for Summer 2000

I'm with Cherell, the Sunspree in Montego Bay was just okay. The food was terrible. Plus, the girls who planned the tours kept getting things all jumbled up and we ended up missing out on Ocho Rios all together as a result. <BR> <BR>I hear that Sandals is a lovely place and if I head to Jamaica again I will probably stay there.

If you are looking for a romantic, quiet getaway the only Sandals I would pick would be Sandals Royal Jamaican - have also been to Sandals Ocho Rios, Sandals Dunns River, and Sandals MoBay and those have more of an active party atmosphere than romantic and peaceful. Although I haven't been to either GL Negril or GL Sans Souci,I would probably pick one of those 2 - I was at GL Braco in April and found it to be much, much nicer than either Sandals or Couples Ocho Rios (haven't been to Couples Negril). On our next trip to Jamaica we will be staying at one of the Grand Lidos, although we haven't decided which yet.
