Where to Windsurfing in St. Thomas
 
I will be in St. Thomas 8/11-8/17.<BR>Where can I windsurf?<BR>Where can I rent good equipment (not beginer)<BR><BR>Thanks for the help<BR>Nick

Jean-<BR>I think the two best beaches for windsurfing on STT would be Morningstar (at Frenchmans Reef) and Sapphire Beach.<BR>I am not a wind surfer so I don't know about renting equipment.Here is a link with some info:<BR>http://www.travelfacts.com/tfacts/htm/stt/sttsport.htm

Hull Bay and BlueBeard's Beach now the Great Bay beach at the Ritz Club. Good rentals in Red Hook. Don't remember the name. Some hotels do have some rentals on the property. Try Cowpet Bay.

Rent from John at West Indies Windsurfing (340) 775-6530. The best place to wind surf is where the wind is! ;-) Usually an easterly pattern so east end beaches...If you are good, out in Pillsbury Sound. I have watched folks jumping the ferry wakes for grins...
