Where to stay on the Gold Coast

Where would you stay on the Gold Coast that wouldn't break the bank. Are there restaurants in wLking distance? Looking for nice calm beach.

Which "Gold Coast" are you asking about?

Define ""wouldn't break the bank" in terms of dollars. We have no idea how "strong" your bank is and what will break it.

Sorry, I thought I was in the Barbados forum. I.m looking to spend about 3500.00 per couple. I'm looking for calm water, either all inclusive or a location that is walking distance to some restaurants. Thank you.

3500 per couple for one week? or how long? including air fare? if yes, from where?

Not including airfare. But would like that amount to cover everything else. Yes, one week.

Hello ,

I would suggest looking at self catering sunset crest apartments or houses. They are way more affordable that beachside hotels on the west coast. They are also in the heart of hometown , wishing walking distance to baks coffee shops , supermarkets, some of the islands fine dinning restaurants and the beach! .

The neighbourhood is tree lined , very clean and usually quite . It has a nice feel.

If you are willing to consider a self catering option , I think home away ( google) would be a good place to start or perhaps google sunset crest guest house / apartments for rent.

Good luck & Happy travels

Hello again ,

I apologies for the spelling errors trying to type on my smart phone . I meant * - Holetown in Saint James, not hometown ( as there is no such thing as hometown that is a city in Barbados.)

Thank you for the info.
