Where to stay on Grace Bay?

We are planning a trip to Turks & Caicos in mid May. It is our yearly anniversay trip for just the two of us. After much research, we have narrowed it down to the following places to stay: Royal West Indies, The Sands & Sibonne Beach Hotel. Any feedback on these hotels would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!

I have stayed at Sibonne when it was still called Le Deck. It is a friendly, small hotel on a very nice stretch of Grace Bay. The pool is VERY small - just for cooling off. We liked this hotel for much because of its relaxed, friendly atmosphere, intimate size and great location. However anyone who needs a large pool and lots of activities would not be happy there.
We have not stayed at The Sands but have eaten there and viewed the property (it is just a 5 minute walk from Sibonne) - nice pool, friendly restaurant - it looks like a nice place.

We stayed at the Sands in August 2003. Loved it. We had a studio. It was fine. Not luxury, but had everything that we could possibly need. Washer and dryer in the bathroom was great. Pack light. Little sink and fridge to keep wine and cheese in. Great beach and location. In the middle of the hotel zone. Take a flashlight so that you can walk to other restaurants at night, although Hemmingways at the Sands is probably one of the best the island has to offer. Have fun.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at The Sands on Aug '01. Had an oceanview one bedroom which had a full kitchen. Hemingways was one of our favorite places to eat on the island. Make sure to make reservations for dinner to get the most romantic view of the sunset. RWI is pretty similar from what we could tell but loved the pools at The Sands. You'll have a wonderful time no matter where you choose to stay. Can't wait to get back there.......

We've stayed at RWI and visited Hemingways at the Sands. The two properties are very similar, you can't go wrong with either. Go with the best deal!

Have been to Provo four times - would highly recommend Ocean Club. Ocean Club West is their sister property - nice but Ocean Club is the last property at the end of Grace Bay so it seems much more private. It is next door to Club Med but that isn't a problem. There are two pools at Ocean Club. They have a nice beach cafe/bar and beautiful grounds. We have been in several of the units - all of them are nice. They all have big screened in decks or patios, and are quite roomy. Our first visit to Provo was about 10 years ago. When we last visited 2 years ago (after not being there for 4 years) we were amazed at the number of properties that had popped up on Grace Bay. We checked them all out and still were happy with Ocean Club, its amenities, and their beautiful stretch of beach. They have a nice restaurant on property. You can also take the free shuttle to their sister property and use the facilities there. There are a number of nice restaurants within walking distance or short cab ride if you don't want to cook. Would recommend having a dinner at Coco Bistro. Also would recommend renting a car/jeep for a day or two.
