Where to stay in Jamaica? Ritz Rose Hall or Half Moon?
Given the choice between The Ritz Carlton Rose Hall and The Half Moon Bay Golf and Beach Club, where would you stay?
Have already booked a deal for my husband and I to stay at Half Moon in late Feb. For around the same price we could probably switch to the Ritz (though I'm sure we'd pay some fee for the change.)
Is it worth it? The Half Moon Bay looks really nice to me, with possibly more to do and nicer beach ... but it's hard to turn down the Ritz. I am 27, my husband 34.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Though I've not stayed at the Ritz, I'm sure it is very nice. I have stayed at Half Moon and enjoyed it very much.
I'ts much larger than the Ritz and almost like a village unto itself. You can safely walk for hours and never leave the property. I'ts old world, but for me at least it's a step back in time that I feel will soon be disappearing.
If you prefer more modern/glitz then you may prefer the Ritz but otherwise I'm sure you'd be very happy at Half Moon. Good luck!

Been to both......they're both very nice properties. I guess it all depends what you like. If it is new more modern accomodations and the very best of service.....then I'd choose
The Ritz.
If you however you place a high value on a longer beach, larger prettier grounds and an olde world charm.......
I'd stay at Half Moon.
You cant go wrong with either place.
