Where to stay in Aruba! Help Please!!!

I've racked my brain to try to find where to stay in Aruba. I am going there at the last week in October for my honeymoon. I've looked at hotels, resorts, all-inclusives, or even little villas that are not even on the beach. I am looking to spend about 3,000-4,000. So I would greatly appreciate any insight anyone could give.
thanks a million!
My husband and I stayed at the Aruba Grand for our honeymoon in Sept. 2000. We did not want to stay in a high rise, so this place was perfect for us. We stayed in a lanai suite, which was literally a couple of steps from the beautiful beach.

http://www.arubagrand.com/

Go to http://www.travelunlimited.com. They are Aruba specialists and you can see the pricing on some of the more popular hotels. Also, great agency to work with! You can also email or call them and they will give you recommendations based on what you are looking for.

Prices are low in October and perhaps you can swing the Radisson or Hyatt, which are top-notch.

Wyndham is one step down; the Bucuti is two steps; Manchebo, three steps down. Those would be my top honeymoon picks at the various price levels.

I would not recommend all-inclusive in Aruba.

Radisson is the best, followed closely by the Hyatt. I agree that AI is a waste in Aruba -- there are so many great restaurants to try, not to mention the nightlife. Plus drinks aren't expensive anyway if you're a big boozer. Just buy booze and keep it on ice (be sure to try Amstel Bright).

Shoot for the Radisson if you can get it.
Sue, Been to Aruba twice in the past year. The Radisson is the best of all of the resorts on Aruba. If you drop me a line, I will forward you my webpages where I have my trip reports published. Frommer's rated my 2001 trip report very highly. For the money you are looking to spend, you could afford a private villa on almost any Caribbean island. I would recommend that if you are looking for the most "bang for the buck". I have done much traveling for my job and researched many of these villas myself and stayed at many resorts. If you want some more recommendations, please feel free to email me.
