Where to stay, hotel &/or beach advice?
My boyfriend & I are traveling in mid-June. Any suggestions on which Hotel to stay? Near a great beach, not family style, more romantic, and lots of great restraunts & water sports. Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

Forgot to add that we don't want an all-inclusive, and are open to nice small Inns. :)

Any other suggestions? :)

Which island are you considering?
|
St.Lucia. Sorry, posted this in St.Lucia area, don't know how it ended up in the General Info. section. :)
|
Try Le Chastanet.

There's only a "General caribbean" board. Even though you may have clicked on St. Lucia, all posts show up on the same forum. That's why it helps to mention your destination in the subject line.
Check out Anse Chastenet, if it's not out of your budget you'll find it very romantic. You should know that St. Lucia has mostly smaller dark sand beaches. There's only one white sand beach and it is is man-made. |
Which beach has the WHITE sand on it? Thanks to everyone!

My boyfriend and I are also going in June. We are staying at Club St James, Morgan Bay, we wanted the all inclusive not to have to worry about paying for anything including food and alcohol. What is your price range, we've looked in a few places before deciding?

I'd vote for Anse Chastenet near the town of Soufriere (sp). We were there last year and had an awesome time. Hiking, sailing, learned to scuba right there, lots of tours and great snorkeling right off the beach.
The great restaurants were in the northern part of the island, near the town of Castries. On the same trip we stayed at the Royal St. Lucian for a week near Castries. Much more urban up north. |
