Where to stay and best time of year to travel?
I am trying to come up with the best and most affordable all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana. I have never been to any part of the caribbean, and have no idea when the best time of year to travel weather-wise is.
We are going there to be married on the beach, so it has to be realiable weather!
Thanks for your help!!!

I just returned from Punta Cana last week. We stayed at the Natura Park Resort. It was not only affordable, but very beautiful. We got an amazing deal for $560 for seven nights (ALL-INCLUSIVE!!) I would definetely recommend this place, and plan to return.

The rainy season (which also makes it the hurricane/tropical storm season) in the Caribbean is considered to be from June 1 through November 30. You highest risk for bad weather is August, September and October. So the best time, weather wise, is as far as possible from that. That would be January through April.
There are a few islands - notably Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao whose location puts them well below the path of most hurricanes, making it much less likely for them to have hurricanes/trop storms. So they're you're best bet if you're traveling during June through November.

hi there, i've heard that the bavaro beach all-inclusive resort in punta cana is the best. especially since you get a bracelet that gives you access to all other hotels in the area. but again, i've never been there so you might want to do more research on bavaro beach. good luck!

Cyrclark, I've been to Punta Cana and it's beautiful and very affordable. The resort we found to be "the best for the least" this year is the newly named SuperClubs Breezes. It used to be Lti Sol de Plata Punta Cana Beach resort. The resort is only 2 years old and SuperClubs is taking it over effective Dec. 15. They are doing extensive renovations (new things like more restaurants, hot tubs, flying circus trapeze, etc.) now and the price is incredible and sure to go up next year. For reviews and much more information on the DR go to this website:
