Where to go!!! Puerto Rico, Dominican Rep., Bahamas, Brit. V. islands?

Hi,

My husband and I are planning our annual couples vacation and I have no clue where to go. We will be going for 5 days anytime after July 21. but before August- which I hear is storm season.

We would like all inclusive, but that is not a deal breaker

We are very interested in SNUBA (not scuba) diving, or a great snorkeling experience (preference is SNUBA)

We want a beautiful beach

A decent night life

Water sports and nature/ sport excursions are important

We are not looking to break the bank, we want a really nice time but not more than 3 grand before we start cutting costs

you could look at: http://www.sugarbayresortandspa.com/ has snuba just down the street at: coralworldvi.com
charlotte amalie (the big town on st. thomas) has plenty of nightlife. taxi would be 20-30 mins each way
red hook (the small town on st.t) is about 10 mins from sugar bay & is where you can catch the ferry (20 min ride) to st. john where you'll find gorgeous beaches & hiking in the nat'l park. st.t offers excursions of every type

Thank you, coral world looks amazing....but for some reason St. Thomas is just not ringing my bell. I was thinking of St. Lucia but I heard the snorkeling/diving leaves much to be desired. I think my problem is that I want to do everything! Rent ATV's and ride, snuba, beautiful sand & water beaches, beautiful room, some kind of party/night life, nature hike...

I was also flirting with Breezes, Runaway Bay, but Jamaica just seems so 'done'...

Have you checked out St. John? Has most of what you say you want.

Jamaica is most certainly not "done". It's a fantastic, diverse island with so much to see and do. The DR doesn't hold a candle to it imho.
