Where to go for parents 60th birthdays?

Here's the deal:

My in-laws are both turning 60, and we - my husband (33) , sister-in-law (29), her husband (32), and me (31) - are trying to figure out where to take them for a quick 4-night get-away. No kids going.

Here are some parameters:

1. Quick flights from the US - rather not change in San Juan.

2. 3 bedroom villa needed, preferably with great view of ocean.

3. Golf, tennis, snorkling....

We are checking out Casa de Campo on Dominican Republic, and condos on Grand Cayman. Any other suggestions, or comments on those 2 choices? Also, looking at March-April 2002 for time-frame.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I recommend renting a villa at Tryall Golf and Beach Club just west of MoBay. You can get a 3, 4, or 5 bedroom villa with staff (cook, maid, laundress, gardner [some also have a butler]) either down by the water or on the hill overlooking the (excellent) golf course and the beach. Try for a 4 or 5 bedroom and you'll have a bit more privacy, plus somewhere to store your golf clubs and snorkel gear.
Some of the villas are rented directly by their owners (enter Tryall villas as a search at Google). All are rented through the management office at Tryall (www.tryallclub.com)
We've (my wife and I, and another couple) been there several times and it is absolutely our favorite vacation. We get a 4 bedroom (pro-rated down from the 4 couple price, since there are only 2 couples).
Planning menus with the cook, letting her know what you like and don't like, hearing her suggestions of some of her favorites, make the dining experience much more personal than a restaurant ever could.
But, you can eat at the restaurant at the Great House at Tryall, if you did want to get out -- and MoBay's restaurants are about 20 minutes away by taxi.
Oh, and you have your own private pool at your villa -- no screaming kids, no boom boxes blasting, just the music (if you want it) that you choose.
And Delta, American, and Air Jamaica have good flight schedules into and out of MoBay from the US. AJ is direct from a bunch of places in the US, AA connects through Miami, I think.
But from Atlanta, the flight is only about 2 hours or so.
Just talking about it is making me want to start planning our next visit there.

Check out the Turks and Caicos. The main island of Provenciales is a quick 1 hour, 20 minute flight from Miami. There are lots of condo resorts right on Grace Bay Beach. Point Grace has 3 br condos/villas -- we stayed there in April, very nice. Great golf and not many Caribbean island have that. Also tennis and snorkeling.

First of all, why not ask them..... Casa de Campo is the ideal location for those people who golf. It has a very famous course and section and I might have the wrong name, but I think it's The Leg of the Dog..all golfers want to play that. Casa de Campo is one of the finest resorts in the world according to the travel magazines..

Jen,
Grand Cayman has everything your looking for. One hour direct flight from Miami. Many nice condos on Seven Mile beach, right on the beach to choose from! Snorkeling right from the beach. Three golf courses, and many of the condos have tennis courts! Go to www.caymanvacations.com or www.gotocayman.com to check out accomodations. Hope this helps!
Sandy
