Where to go?
 

My husband and I are trying to decide where to go. I won roundtrip airfare and we decided we would like to go to the carribean since we have never been. Checking the airfare requirements and the time we can go, we are looking at 3 to 4 days early November. Choices are Aruba, Cancun and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Not so much into the nightlife but definitely would like to have some beach time and maybe a day or two to explore historical/nature sites. Any suggestions on where and place to stay?

San Juan Seems the obvious choice too me, & fits your criteria.

I agree given your criteria (short stay, access to nightlife if needed, beach, historical & natural site) San Juan would be a very good choice.

Aruba... You can always go to Puerto Rico later..

I think it really depends on where you are flying out of and how long for each flight. PR isnt good if you're flying from West Coast.

Choose the shortest flight since you want to maximize your vacation time!

I agree it depends on the flights, since you have such a short time. San Juan would be my choice too, but I haven't been to Aruba and it sounds great.

Thanks everyone for your advice. After checking with the airline for availability we have decided on San Juan for 4 days. Now to finding a good place to stay!
