Monday, 1/27 it started and it does seem to have eliminated lots of the annoying posts.<BR><BR>This board is very helpful to a lot of travelers and we should try to keep it that way.

Hello ann_marie,<BR>As the other posters mentioned, it began on Friday I think and took effect Monday.<BR>You will notice the rude posters are gone, but many of the long time posters with a lot of info left as well.<BR>Since the main purpose of the board is information and not entertainment, I can understand the decision that was made. BUT, a lot of posts that would normally get quite a bit of response and helpful hints are going unanswered, and you can see that the volume is way down.<BR>It looks like it was much more successful in getting rid of the trolls on the US board.<BR>No more lively discussions re the politics of going to Cuba or the safety of St. Martin or Jamaica I guess.

<BR>Thank you everyone for your responses. It already seems somewhat more civilized. I hope it continues to be a success, this board has helped me quite a bit with my travel decisions.<BR><BR>Thanks again!
