What to do in Barbados with teens?
Hi! We will be in Barbados for a week mid-April with our 17 year old son and 14 year old daughter. Most of the forums I'm finding on here regarding teens are VERY old, so I'm hoping for some up-to-date advice. Besides just relaxing on the beach and going to the fish fry, please offer some advice on things we will NOT want to miss out on. We love a good adventure, public transportation, and odd and unusual things off the beaten path. We are staying at the Coral Mist Beach, in Worthing, Christ Church. I'd love any input! Thank you in advance.

Your teens would enjoy Harrison Caves. I don't think you can get there by public transportation. We hooked up with a tour (minivan) that included the caves and a plantation house as well as an island tour.

Go to Welchman Hall Gully. Get there at 10am when they feed the monkeys...and they are not in cages! They are all around you! Animal Flower Cave is cool, as is the Wildlife Preserve (also lots of monkeys (feeding time there is around 2pm i think). Take a catamaran cruise and swim with the turtles. Take an island safari tour in a 4x4 land cruiser. Rent a car for a day or two and go out and explore the island. There's plenty to do! Have fun!!!!!
