What to do after a week in Aruba?

We will be spending a week in Aruba in December at La Cabana Beach Club. Any suggestions for another 3 days or so around there? We have kids, 9 years old. We thought about Caracas but after doing so reading, it doesn't sound too exciting. Curacao, Bonaire?
Thanks for your comments.

Curacao is good for snorkeling but not for beaches. Bonaire has some nice beaches.

The logical choices are either Curacao or Bonaire. The latter is known as a dive destination. For a 9 yr. old Curacao may be better. Avoid Caracas!

Thanks to both. Looks like Curacao is a good choice though I'm not sure we can catch a plane back to the US directly from there.

Yes, there are direct flights back to the US daily from Curacao....I believe there is an AA flight that leaves mid-day direct to Miami.

I found that there were very nice beaches in Curacao, as well as good snorkeling and lots to do. It is on my list of places to return and take my children to.

If you go to the Jan Thiel beach, there's a great kids playground with water on the beach. The restaurant there is nice too.
