What’s a good website to watch for Hurricanes?

Just booked a place in St John for mid September and suddenly I’m very worried about a hurricane crashing my vacation. Anyone know of a good website that tracks storms well before they hit the Caribbean?

I agree with bluefan. www.stormcarib.com is the best amateur site with reports from all islands.

the NOAA website is the best for pros and weather fanatics

Another vote for stormcarib.com. You get reports from people living on the islands, so you get firsthand accounts.

The NOAA website is the only one with the raw data that counts.... and you only need to check it every 6 hours, as that is how often their data is updated.

Now, once a storm has passed an island, StormCarib is the one to go to.

StormCarib was a tremendous resource for Cayman after Ivan last year, and I gave the guy who runs that site a free a vacation in Cayman this year as thanks. He and his family are great people and I was happy to help !

I would also recommend www.caribwx.com. Looks of good hurricane information written in plain English. Plus, they're based in Roadtown, Tortola, BVI.
