CaribLover,

Why are you asking? I can't believe so many people have responded without knowing why??
|
Why,

Why not. So many people have thru out messgaes said I've been here this many times, there this many times. Why not have people just put it all together in one place.

First Caribbean island to visit was Barbados Christmas 1980.

Thought the island was too commercialized, did some searching and stumbled across Anguilla, first visit in 1981, done 18 trips ranging from 2 - 7 weeks.

I know it sounds boring not having been to other Caribbean island, but we live in Europe and holiday in Europe during the summertime. We spend an extended Christmas vacation and want to come somewhere we do not have to explore too much.

Boring maybe, but it suits us.
|
Have been to numerous islands, here goes.
Aruba 15
Antigua 1
BVI 1
St Thomas 1
St John 1
Curacao 1
Turks & Caicos 1
St Lucia 1
St Vincent Grenadines 1
Puerto Rico 1

Leaving on Sept 9 for 15 days in Barbados and Grenada

Obivously, we like Aruba!
|
what is the point of this? Who cares? Now if you asked why people revisit destinations then I could see some point. But this makes such BORING reading.
|
and isn't it sad that some people are so unadventurous to want to visit an island 15 times?BTW I'm not referring to people who have friends/family/business there.
When we were younger we went to the same destination 5 times and even though it was great it gets a bit too predictable. Much more fun to try different destinations. You've only one life.
|
Hey puzzled - then don't read it.

I object to being called boring just bec ause I've been to same place 15 times. I have lots of other interests. I enjoy knitting, playing dominoes and trainspotting.
|
why on earth would anyone find this in the least bit interesting? the only person to make any attempt to make it interesting is O.T. The only possible reason I can see for Cariblover posting this is that they are in the travel industry and want your email addresses.
And why does anyone want to admit to visiting the same places umpteen times?

Haven't you got some wet paint to watch?
|

Why: I thought the exact same thing. This has got to be the most lame question ever asked on this board.

CaribLover: Do you really find this interesting? If so, you need to get a life.
|
I guess the reason you people find it boring is because there are no mention of crime, sex or drugs in the responses.

I for one will be glad when school starts up again.
