What are the Pre-requisites for travelling to Cayman Islands during June 2021?

I am travelling with my husband and 9 year old daughter. Do we need to submit Covid-Negative test on arriving at Cayman Islands? Is there any quarantine rules which needs to be followed?

You'll find several threads with the most up to date "Covid Travel Requirements" for the Cayman islands on the TripAdvisor Grand Cayman Forum. Basically,, depending on whether or not all people in your group have been vaccinated you'll have to quarantine for anywhere between 10 to 14 days. Too early to say whether these same restrictions will be in place in June.

The airports were closed from last year with a phased re-opening at the moment, borders are only open for specified groups of travellers. Airlines are only operating limited flights mainly for the purposes of repatriation. Are you planning a trip as tourists? If so I would doubt you would qualify for entry currently. I would recommend you read the Cayman government websites for correct and up to date information. There is also a Cayman Travel Team that you can email to find out answers to your questions.

It varies island to island and changes depending on current stats.
This says that travelers from the US were not allowed yet except under special circumstances, and a quarantine was required. There are also restrictions by the US for returning travelers. I feel certain that even if you are allowed, testing will be required going and returning. I have relatives and friends on a couple of different islands and those islands are being very, very strict.

I just spoke to the property manager at THE MERIDIAN on Seven Mile Beach yesterday. She said the government has not yet given them a date for re-opening. It might be May - or not. She says The Meridian is
heavily booked for summer, but she is telling guests to check back in a few weeks.

Things are changing fast. Countries are opening up, airlines are putting new rules in places- it's really impossible for anyone to answer your questions now. There are a lot of "ifs". IF the rate comes down in the US, as it should with the vaccinations, more things will be open in June. You need to talk to your airline about whether they will require a COVID test, as well as on the restrictions on getting to Cayman. It would probably not be worth going if you still had to quarantine for 14 days (they take these restrictions seriously- people have been arrested for leaving their hotel rooms.) Some places are opening to those who have been vaccinated, but that creates problems for traveling with children who can't be vaccinated yet. You really will need to keep an eye on the situation as it develops in May.

Airlines are not putting rules in place, they are being told what to ask for from passengers by the countries they fly to, including which type of COVID test and the best place for finding out restrictions are the pages belonging to the government of the Caymans or where ever you are flying to. Airlines are not experts in the entry requirements, I have asked several airlines to clarify some questions I had about which COVID test and they never answer it directly, they ask you to read up about the specific requirements yourself.

There are various apps and websites where you can plug in your itinerary and passport country etc and the rules/restrictions are displayed but even then, they are not always completely up to date as things change on a daily basis. I'm finding some countries are closing not opening, especially in Europe.

You're right about airlines enforcing the rules set by the destination countries. However, some airlines are talking about requiring proof of vaccination to travel internationally. "COVID-19 vaccination may not be required to board domestic flights, however; Delta’s CEO, Ed Bastian, told the Today show that may be something exclusive to international travel,.."
