What are the best swimming spots in Grand Cayman?

I have two small children and am looking for quiet swimming coves on the island, anyone know of any?

When my kids were small (they are now in their 30's!) we always stayed on North Side where my parents had a home. We found Rum Point to be perfect for them.

Thank you CaymanSue, we'll be staying at The Reef Resort; this is our first time on the island.

I agree, Rum Point for children would be wonderful. The water is shallow pretty far out. Sandy bottom.

Smith's cove, depending on the day, the cruise ship crowd, or the weather may not be too bad, Cemetery Beach is often pretty un-crowded as well.

Port a pots at Smith's Cove and Cemetery Beach are the only facilities.

Rum Point has a regular bathroom with showers, but if you are there, you cannot bring your own food on the beach, you must buy from them. If you have driven out there, you could take a cooler, and head to Ivory Kai, enjoy the wading and starfish gazing while having a picnic lunch on that very quiet beach. Not so good for swimming, but still fun.
