Went to Turks and Caicos this year - where should we go next year?

Hubby and I went to Turks and Caicos in February (2nd time there). We stayed at the West Bay Club and it was perfect. We would definitely stay there again next year but wondering if there is any place else we should try.

We love beautiful beaches, nice restaurants (but they do not have to be over the top high end), nice accomodations, etc.

We have been to:

Virgin Gorda - loved it there - rented a villa at Nail Bay.

St. John - 1st time stayed at Caneel bay, 2nd time rented a villa - Cruz Bay is getting so crowded - reminds me of a mini NY city!

Aruba - would NEVER go again - too over developed

Was thinking of Anguilla but it is much more expensive than Turks and Caicos. Looking to go in February, 2012. Leaving from Boston.

Do not want to spend more than $600 per night for a room.

Should we go back to Turks and Caicos?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You like the smae places I do.

I was going to suggest Anguilla.

I would suggest Turtles Nest. It is a little more rustic than West Bay Club, but Anguilla is a terrific island.

Restaurants are even better than T&C, but they are also more upscale.

Based on other places you've liked, you'll really like Anguilla.

Anguilla is terrific. It will also be warmer than T&C in Feb as its further south.

Anguilla, Anguilla, Anguilla. Beaches to rival what you saw on Grace Bay, restaurants to top anything you had on Provo. Similar topography. Anguilla is generally more expensive than Provo, but it doesn't have to be. Even at high season like that you should be able to get a nice room at that budget, and if you can give up ocean front and/or luxury accommodations you can be under that budget.

Take a look at Carimar on Anguilla, which is a small condo property set on Meads Bay Beach. It's less new than Turtle nest, which blamona suggests, but I think it has more character. I would think that some of the lower category rooms at Cuisinart would be in your price range, and there are some villas that might work, too, though the villas wouldn't be waterfront at that price. (I like the Bayberry Villa for a nicely furnished villa with gorgeous views over Rendezvous Bay in your price range)

Based on that, you might enjoy Grand Cayman. The beach is amazing. Of your list we've been to GC, TC St Thomas/John and Aruba. Have not been to Anguilla which others have recommended.

forgot to add, restaurants are wonderful on GC. Snorkeling is also easy and great if that matters to you.

Anguilla for certain. We went to Anguilla one year, T&C the next and Grand cayman this year. adored all 3 but i think Anguilla edges them all out. GC might be a little too developed for your tastes.

Anguilla sounds great but the airare is DOUBLE either Grand Cayman or T&C. Yikes. Plus travel time for me is limited. I hate to lose a valuable day trying to get there and then get home.

St. Bart's----yes, it's expensive, but you can find some good deals and it's fantastic!

Thank you everyone for your responses. I would love to try Anguilla - Just trying to figure out the airlines and airfare from Boston - which is VERY expensive.
