I have been married 4 times, and have honeymooned in Cuba each time! I love the island, the ambience, and highly recommend it!

Cuba is brilliant for a wedding. I'd have a look at the brand-new Sandals Royal Hicacos, Varadero. Returned from there 2 weeks ago and loved it.

I've done a trip report about the place (and Cuba generally) if you want to look:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.dearnley/cuba/

I've never been married in Cuba but when I was staying at the Melia Club Sol Cayo Largo, they had a very beautiful gazebo over water in a central court specifically for weddings. I gather this 5 star Melia resort does quite a lot of weddings there.

Here is a weblink to Cayo Largo in general. By the Way, Cayo Largo is an island (owned by Cuba) off the south coast. Very beautiful and very traditionally Caribbean.

http://www.cayolargodelsur.cu/
