To anyone who has had experience!<BR>We would appreciate your help and advice.<BR><BR>We are planning on a wedding and honeymoon in the caribbean in april of 2003. <BR><BR>We are looking for quaint, charming and rom antic. Great food, great service, great rooms in a relaxing beautiful environment on the beach. We prefer quiet but enough activity options to be busy if we want.<BR><BR>There will only be 6 people in attendance staying 1-2 weeks max. <BR><BR>PLEASE suggest what you think is the best island and hotels on that island.<BR><BR>So far, we are thinking about St. Lucia and the Lesport hotel.<BR><BR>Thanking everyone in advance and great traveling!<BR><BR>SP

We got married on St. John a couple of years ago. Rented a gorgeous 4 bedroom villa with stunning views, plunge pool, the works. Had 3 other people come over for the first part of the trip. It was great. Everyone loved it. St. John has some gorgeous beaches to get married on. Absolutely stunning.<BR><BR>If you want a hotel,there is upscale<BR>(understated luxury) Caneel Bay resort.. or the Westin Resort. <BR><BR>We were happy we went a villa. Much more private and plenty of room. <BR><BR>You can hire a private chef to cook for everyone at your villa or go to a nice restaurant. There are some great restaurants on St. John.<BR><BR>Go to USVI Online site and you will learn a lot. We have not been to St. Lucia but hear that St. John is the nicer of the two. <BR>Just an opinion.<BR><BR>Congratulations.

We have just returned from getting married at the Colony Club in Barbados. The service was great, the room was perfect and the scenery was fabulous. The wedding coordinator handled all of the details and everything went very well. Good luck with your wedding.

How much should one (I mean two people) budget for a very small Caribbean wedding???? Thanks for any info.
