Wedding at smaller all inclusive, not in mexico?

In order for us to make some specific suggestions we need more info; budget, where are you flying from, do you want adult only, couples only, family friendly. What are you looking for in a honeymoon after the wedding? Any type of specific activities, sights, shopping, snorkeling, scuba, etc. that you want to do or just hang on a nice beach and chill out.

If you actually want to get married on an Island, you need to research the the legalities of it. Some Islands require a specific number of nights you must be there before they can perform the ceremony.

By definition AI and small don't go together, unless you have big $.

The reason AI is an AI because it makes money with volumes. Caribbean is already expensive, so for a sort to offer AI they have to have tons of people stay there to make ip for it.

On the other hand, there are gorgeous resorts that weddings buy out, but huge price tags.

So if you want AI because you want to save money (or save your guests money) you're not going to find a small one!

I would take a look at the Royal Decameron in Jamaica. It is a smaller all inclusive resort (maybe 200 rooms or so) and is moderately priced. There was a wedding going on when we were there and it looked very intimate.

You are probably not looking for a traditional AI then. A total resort buy out with food and dri.ks for that many people times x many days is going to cost a huge fortune. Money that could be spent better. IMPO. I would do some research' get your absolute musts clarified, and then start compromising unless you make several millions of dollars per year.

Wow. Expensive and near impossible. I own a small resort and even in the low season I have 40% to 70% occupancy. Over half are repeat guests too. I can't loose that for a wedding. I know people who are building new resorts in the size and type you need but they are in DR.

There's not much info to go on. What time of year is the wedding, where are all the guests going to fly in from, can they all easily get to the same island?
There are small AIs for example Cocos Hotel in Antigua but that only has 28 rooms. Guests could stay in other nearby hotels. I can't see a hotel being bought out for a wedding since it will impact the vacations booked for a week or two weeks for the sake of a wedding that lasts couple days.

We would love to be helpful but you haven't really given us much to go on. There are lots of smallish, intimate resorts in the Caribbean. My guess is you'll need to book at least a year in advance if you plan to rent all the rooms. What exactly are you looking for, i.e., on the beach? budget? easy to reach?

In the meantime a couple of places immediately came to mind. I haven't stayed at either of these places but I've looked into both of them and the size mostly fits what you're looking for:

Cocobay in Antigua, which has the added benefit of being all-inclusive

It's on the Cliffs in Negril Jamaica. You'd fly into Montego Bay then it's 90 mins from the airport.

If everyone can't stay there, nearby you'll find other nice properties like Catcha Falling Star, Tensing Pen, le Mirage, etc.

Not all inclusive, but gorgeous resort with about 21 rooms, Point Grace, Beach House, and a little bigger West Bay Club, all in turks and Caicos.

West Bay Club has the best prices, plus you get serious luxury at much less than more upscale resorts.

But as everyone says, your question is too general.

BUDGET! per room per night helps
Time of year (affects the budget, affects how full resorts get)
Do you plan to pay for all or just want reasonable to offer guests?
How many nights?

Do you need somewhere else for after the wedding?

Do you need wedding planner, reception area, rehersal dinner?

Without these answers, our answers will be all over the place!

and, how many rooms are you looking for? Less than 300 doesn't help us

The "16 year old sister" of the bride would not be able to stay at any Sandals property. Whitehouse in Jamaica is a pretty big property and VERY expensive. Doing a complete buyout would not be practical there.
