Weather in July

We are from Phoenix and considering a trip with our 5 and 8 year old to Nevis or Turks and Caicos in late July. We usually go to Hawaii, where its plenty warm, but our only experience with the Caribbean in the summer is Aruba (before kids) and it was way too hot coming from scorching Phoenix. Is that what the caribbean is like in general in the summer? Coming from Phoenix, the last thing we want is to fry or have hair-dryer temperature breezes! Would love to hear from those who have spent a week or 10 days in the summer. Thanks!

July throughout the Caribbean will be a little warmer than Hawaii because the ocean is warmer than the ocean around Hawaii.

Maybe stick with Hawaii...more specifically Kauai.I don't know if you have been there but in my opinion...it is the most beautiful place on earth.I have been to Aruba also...it does not COMPARE to Kauai for beauty, culture and snorkeling.

Just returned from St. Lucia and Martinique yesterday. Weather was brutally hot! I would suggest Hawaii if you don't like the heat.

You guys cinched it for us. We were afraid it'd be too hot and I hate to go all that way and be miserable (relatively speaking, of course!)

thanks so much for the quick replies. Hawaii it is.
