Water Taxi's
We would like to take a water taxi from Eleuthera to Nassau to spend the day at Paradise Island (Atlantis) to see the aquarium, dolphins, sting rays, etc.
Anyone have any idea where I find info on a water taxi for this? Thanks. 76 days and counting..... |
There is no water taxi, it's open ocean and Nassau is far away.
There IS a fast ferry and the ride over to Nassau is about 2 1/2 hours. The first sailing out of Nassau is at 6:30 am. What you might do is stay overnight one night on New Providence to see the island. There are day trips over to Harbour Island from Nassau, not sure if there are still 2 sailings a day so you might check the www.bahamasferries.com for the dates you will be there. Have a GREAT time. |
Posted this on your other listing, guess you didn't see it:

Also keep in mind, that to enjoy the aquariums, pools, etc, you have to pay for the night at Atlantis!!!!
They now make you wear bracelets, and have gotten very strick about it. |
Thanks, actually on the Atlantis site it says anyone can visit the aquarium as it's in the lobby of the hotel. The other things (pool, etc) require an overnight say to participate.
