Water conditions at the "Baths" in November

Hello - we are wondering what the water conditions are like at the Baths in November. Is the water swimmable and can one go snorkeling.

Thanks

Yes, water is swimmable and yes you can go snorkeling at the Baths in November. You can pretty much do both year round but sometimes in later December and early January the "Christmas Winds" cause swells which can make the water a bit wavy.

We were at the baths last nov and the water was not swimmable. The waves were crashing against the rocks and no one was snorkelling. The water was calm when we had visited the baths a few years ago in May.

We go almost every year in Nov. and we have never had any issues, it has always been beautiful.

It is just fine. But also take a 1/2 day trip to some of the small islands off VG. A sail or speed boat with 6-10 guests is ideal amd stops at at least 2 spots in 4 hours, not one that takes 25. Enjoy.

We also travel to the Caribbean in November every year and have no trouble swimming or snorkeling in the bath like water temperatures. However, last year was an unusually hectic hurricane season that might have something to do with the water conditions at that time.
