Wanting to get away and drawing blanks...
well,
this is another one of "those" posts: i want to get away to a warm and sunny place and i am on a budget (of course).
i really want to get away the last week of march. i'd prefer an all-inclusive getaway OR a room with a kitchen(ette). i've been to jamaica (and loved it). i'd like to keep it under $1200/person for seven nights.
is there a website where i can just put my dates, budget and "somewhere warm" and they can pick for me? or am i on to something here and should create one? i really don't care... hawaii, carribean, mexico... i just need a beach and relaxation.
oh, i'd prefer a resort that isn't kid-central. any ideas... anyone?

Mexico might be your best bet for your budget and criteria. You tagged islands that aren't really known for AIs and usually doesn't fit the personality of the attraction to those islands.
Budget leaves you limited really to Mexico and Dominican Republic, although you might find something in Aruba.
In Mexico, I'd check out Playa Del Carmen area or Tulum, you'll find some adult only resorts AIs there.

I've been to all those places (Jamaica, Mexico, Hawaii).
Where are you starting from? I ask because if you're west coast US then Mexico or Hawaii are much more affordable. But if you're back East, Jamaica is more convenient.
I never stay all-inclusive, but I plan my own trips and stay at budget places and can definitely do a week with airfare, hotel, meals, entertainment for $1200.
Puerto Vallarta Mexico and Waikiki Oahu Hawaii are the places I go most often, and can do most economically (i'm in Seattle). I also love Negril Jamaica but for me it takes more to get there and I found hotels overall more expensive than what I can easily find my other two favorite spots.
