Want to visit Turks and Caicos? Check out the pictures from my trip here!
Turks and Caicos has the most beautiful water I've ever seen. This includes my travels to S.E. Asia, the South Pacific, Hawaii, the Mediterranean and many other places. If you don't believe me, just check out the full resolution pictures from my recent trip here:

I stayed at the West Bay Club. It was a great place to stay. The West Bay Club is located on a much quieter and wider portion of Grace Bay Beach than most of the other hotels. There is a picture of both the bedroom and main living area of the one bedroom luxury room we stayed in (above link). All of the Grace Bay Beach pictures were taken from right behind the hotel.
I highly recommend T&C and especially the West Bay Club!

Pflum21 - did you rent direct from an owner or through a booking service? Any link you can provide for the exact unit you rented would be appreciated. I keep a file of places I want to rent in the future.
I'm sitting here in Oregon -- it has been pouring for days (and, oh goodie . . . more rain is on the way). And, on top of it I have a horrible cold -- so I'm amusing myself by expanding my file of "wish list" vacation rentals.

cm318, I grew up in Portland so I can definitely sympathize. I stayed in room #404 and rented through a website similar to VRBO.com (can't remember which one exactly). The contact from the site I used ended up being the hotel manger, but I still received a significant discount. I have a feeling if you contact the manager for the West Bay Club directly she'll be able to work out a deal with you. Well, I hope it works out and you are able to visit T&C, you won't regret it!

Thanks TPAYT! I used a Canon T1i (500D) with a 17-40 f/4L lens with both a UV and circular polarizer. The UV and circular polarizer filters really help to cut down on the surface reflection of the water, thus allowing the fantastic blue to show up in the pictures.

cm318, I just found the West Bay Club manager's email address. She was very helpful and provided a substantial discount compared to booking through their website. Her name is Roxanna and her e-mail address is: [email protected]
