Want to go to Negril Jamaica for honeymoon and was thinking about Couples Swept Away. Any suggestions??
 

My fiance and I want to go to Negril Jamaica for our honeymoon in July. We decided on Jamaica b/c it seemed more affordable than some of the other islands, plus I heard good things about Negril. We kind of want to do all inclusive b/c we have never really been on a vacation where we didn't have to worry about anything. We don't want to spend too much b/c all we really need is a nice atmosphere and beach to relax on. Plus we'd rather not spend too much b/c we're going on another trip in February. I read good things about Couples Swept away. Has anyone been there, or does anyone have any good recomendations for places in Jamaica. Thanks!

I have been to Swept Away twice and recommend it. It is lush, the beach is very nice and it is very romantic. You can walk down - or is it up - the beach towards Negril. I loved this long walk and you can choose where you want to stay the next time you visit Negril. There is not much nightlife at Swept Away but you can go to some clubs in Negril if you want more activity.

Do a search in this forum on "Swept" or "Swept Away" and you will see many other positive impressions, including mine. We absolutely love this resort - being there for 2 days is as restful and rejuvenating to our marriage as a full week anywhere else.

Just returned from Negril. Stayed at Riu Negril. Very nice hotel. Lovely beach.

Went to Grand Lido on a day pass. Gorgeous rooms, beautiful beach, lots of variety at the buffet. Great place for a honeymoon.
