Hi brenda. Here is a link to a thread with a link to photos from the wedding and the honeymoon. The links are at the end of the thread. The link at the beginning no longer works.

Great report Caribtraveler!! Makes me even more excited about our trip to St. John in March and day trip to VG. Your trip to Saba sounds awesome as well.

I am off to Provo on Tuesday with Blamona to check on hurricane damage to her house and get in some beach time. I re-read your T&C report again and it made me anxious to go!!

OMG!! This is too funny!

I am also renting the Sugar Mill Villa at Nail Bay in Virgin Gorda in February.

I am renting the upstairs unit! I cannot wait!

Nadine, I have an email from iamq with links to his wedding photos. If you want to shoot me an email, he'd like me to forward the link to you. My email address is my Fodor's user name, followed by 42, with no spaces in between. My domain is American OnLine.

Emily: Done.

Janiekins: My pictures don't do the villa justice. It's really a gorgeous property. By the way, you have a great view from your pool area. Have fun.

Kristen: Enjoy Provo! Hope Blamona's home is okay.

Thanks everyone.

Hi caribtraveler,

Thank you so much for your trip report!

Do you think I have made a good choice by choosing to stay in Upper Sugar Mill?

Please give me your honest opinion.

Great report! We are doing the san juan/air sunshine for our trip next may. Glad you recommend. Thanks, again.

Peace, Greenie

Thanks Greenie.

Janiekins: Are you going by yourself or with significant other?

We tried to check out the inside of the Upper Level (no one was there the first 2 days we were there) but the doors were locked. I'm sure it's as beautifully decorated as downstairs. The space is definitely smaller since the villa is wider at the base and narrows as you go up.

We were only able to see the rooftop pool. It's really cool. The view is better than the lower level's. What surprised me was the size. I thought it'd be bigger, including the pool. They clearly used a wide angle lens for those web site pictures. You can't swim in the pool. It's just too small. The pool is really to take a dip at the end of the day with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. The smallness of the pool is the reason I was glad we were told we couldn't rent the top part. That pool would not have worked for our active little guy.

Yes, I think you've made a good choice.. unless you feel you need a real pool.

Then in February we are going back to St. John for 5 nights and then over to Virgin Gorda for 6 nights - yippee!
