My wife and I have been to all 3. They are quite a bit different from each other while providing a high degree of comfort and amenities.
Little Dix reminds me of something out of the 1950's: more of a traditional resort, a more formal tone, a bit reserved, everything just-so.
Biras Creek (my favorite) is an island paradise. It has a very private setting and a great deal of acreage so that you can have tremendous privacy or not, as you choose. It is also spread out; you are provide a bicycle to get around, and it has the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The dining (both the setting and the cuisine) is the best of the 3 resorts by far.
BEYC is a working marina as well as a resort. If you are into water sports and boating this would be your clear best choice. The beach is small but very comfortable. The food, including the dining setting,in my opinion, is about like eating at Applebee's or Ruby Tuesdays. They may have a chef, but he trained at McDonald's.

Commenting on the remarks about Biras being snooty, we did not experience that at all. The size and privacy that Biras affords does lend itself to honeymooners and honeymooners may favor privacy, but snooty? We did not find that at all.

My comments in the last 2 replies notwithstanding, I will add as an afterthought, that our actual preference is Frenchman's Cay Resort over on Tortola. It's tiny (about 5 small villas) with the very best view of the islands I've ever seen in years of Caribbean vacationing. Run by a husband/wife team. Nice alfresco restaurant at the water. Very low key. Very reasonable packages.
Expect simplicity. You get your own two story villa with kitchen and fabulous open air porch with stunning view. Packages include car. Tortola, imo, beats Virgin Gorda due to its beautiful mountain setting and the many tiny bays that you can drive to and have the whole bay to yourself.

I am planning a honeymoon within the same time bracket. I have done some extensive research on heading to the bvi and have concluded that the atomesphere is a little sedate and could be seen as boring after a few days.

I have been to each of the resorts you mention and would choose Biras Creek for a honeymoon. Little Dix is a magnificent property with great food but no pool. The beach is much bigger than Biras', but Biras has perhaps a younger atmosphere about it. Little Dix is somewhat formal. Rent a power boat of say 20', dock it at Biras and you can explore the whole of the North Sound, including BEYC.

You don't need to rent a boat at Biras. There are Boston Whalers available complimentary to the guests to putt about North Sound.
