Virgin Gorda Activities

Hello, I'm honeymooning at Biras Creek in mid May for 7 nights and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on must-sees and must-dos on or around Virgin Gorda. Any info you can give me is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Jhutch

Go to the famous "The Bath" (early in the morning or late in the afternoon, you'll then avoid the cruis-ship-crowds), go to one of the deserted beaches, for example to Savannah Bay, make a day trip to Anegada. Enjoy your stay in paradise!

You really only need to spend one day in Virgin Gorda proper. Biras will arrange for a rental car to be waiting for you when you get of the boat at Gun Creek. Go directly to the Baths so you can see them before the crowds arrive. The Coppermine Ruins are small but present a stunning place for photos. You can also go look at Little Dix Bay if you'd like. It is a nice resort and it does have a beautiful cove beach. The shopping is negligible. You can go to Pussers before you drop off the car and return to heaven, oops I meant Biras.

We honeymooned there last year in mid-May also -- what a GREAT time. The resort was just what we wanted -- small, not overly manicured, and luxurious. We did a lot of activities through the resort, all of which we loved. These included: an all day sail with snorkeling on the Mary Irene, a half day trip to the Baths, a couple of mornings snorkeling with the staff at offshore reefs (free). We would go back in a second! One piece of advice -- pack a carry on with your swimsuit, toothbrush and change of clothes. Luggage often doesn't make the connecting flight to Tortola. It showed up the next day but until it did, I was VERY cranky that I didn't have a bathing suit.
