My husband and I are going to Turks & Caicos for our 10 year anniversary. We can't decide between these two condos. Both have great reviews on Trip Advisor. They are both going for the same price/night. Villa Renaissance is a ocean view condo, where Villa Del Mar is not. Has anyone been to these condos and can help us with our decision.

Villa Renaissance is a step up and in a better location IMO..for sure go with that one!! It is a beautiful property !!

villa del mar is not beachfront villa renaissance is. on that basis alone i would choose renaissance.

Well, you can walk to the Graceway Gourmet grocery store--very close and many restaurants but, for others you can taxi or rent a car even for a couple of days if you wish. Need one? No Like one? maybe

i'm a bad one to ask as i get a car on All trips. ren is more centrally located than delmar & you could walk to a few places, but not the grocery or many of the dining options. driving is on the left but it's a small island with top speed of 45 and easy to get around without getting lost.
you should not miss chalk sound, which is an even more unusual color of tourquoise than the water at grace bay beach.

Congrats on the 10 years!

Can I ask when you are going? I tried to compare prices between the two places and Villa Renaissance is coming up quite a bit more expensive for me than VDM in May. I was comparing 1 bedroom oceanfront at VR at $3989 vs $1179 for a studio in VDM.

Did you find a great deal somewhere????

Thanks!! I found a one bedroom oceanfront at VR for $250 a night through HomeAway.com We are going in May. Rates in May are significantly lower than the April rates.
