Vieques Rental Cars
 

Going to Vieques in June for a week with my family. Can anyone give me some info on the best car rental agency? I have heard that some of the agencies rent pretty run down cars and I want to try to avoid any pitfalls. Any suggestions?

Martineau Bay Car Rentals had the best vehicles. We rented a Jeep Wrangler and it was new and in good shape. They also have Honda Elements and Jeep Cherokees available.

I second Martineau Bay Car rental. Have used them twice. They are right across from the Wyndham. Suggest you rent well in advance and have a written confirmation in hand. Don't expect to walk in and get a car. They are at a premium on Vieques. Cars run $50-$60/day

I found Martineau to be one of the most expensive although they do advertise that their vehicles are new. We are renting from Maritza's but received a good deal of help from Vieques Car Rental.
