Vieques or Bust?
 

Can anyone recommend a hotel/resort in Vieques with ocean views and spa services?

Nothing like that really exists on Vieques. The island has a lot of nice low-key places, but until the new W resort opens there late this fall, there's no full-scale resort with a spa.

True what Doug says...but check out Blue Horizon, Hix Island House, and Bravos Beach Hotel. They are small, but upscale.
Mostly we have rental villas, and lots of guest rooms, and guest houses.

Actually we were hoping to stay at the new W resort in Dec/Jan but unfortunately they've pushed back the opening until April 09 according to the website.

I thought they might have some great opening rates or maybe use points for a couple of nights of luxury. Ah well we'll have to rough it! :)

Having been there all winter and hearing about the renovations and the fact that they have sold all the "innards" of the buildings, including all the kitchen and spa stuff, I am not surprised to hear of the delay!
Come and stay at our lesser priced places!!

Hi mahobygirl, we're still deciding where to stay but the flights are booked so we'll be there for a week including New Year! Looking forward to lots of time on the beach. :)
