El Conqui or the W? Does anyone have a preference? Thanks!

I don't think there is any place called "El Conqui" on Vieques. If you mean El Conquistator, that is on the main island of Puerto Rico. There are other, nicer places to stay on Vieques in my opinion, for example: Hacienda Tamarindo or Inn on the Blue Horizon

I think there might be a guest house called the Coqui, which is the name of the PR treefrog. But it's not at all in the league of The W. I stayed at Hacienda Tamarindo a few years ago and loved it for its charm, intimacy, staff, local animals, and honor bar system.

I am at the W right now. I can't imagine a better place for total relaxation!

lenlu, if you are flying in, once you collect your bag, go to the W lounge and they will transfer you - no need to take a local cab.
